Using advanced LED accessories that can simulate different types of lightings, the iZleep leverages on specific wavelengths and colours of lights to promote or suppress the production of

the melatonin

Melatonin is a hormone that regulates the sleep–wake cycle. When it is secreted in large quantities, you will go to sleep easily; when it reduces secretion, you will preferably stay awake.

Awakening light

Sleep aiding light (red light: luminance 130lux, color temperature 2000K): can promote the production of melatonin and shorten the time needed to fall asleep.

Awakening light (blue light: luminance 2000lux, color temperature 5500K): can inhibit the production of melatonin and speed up the process of waking up naturally.

Simulative brainwaves

The frequency of brainwaves differs depending on your states of thought or activity. The device emits simulative waves to induce your brain in entering the suitable frequency that corresponds to your desired activities.

As shown above, the perfect sleeping curve consist of four complete sleep cycles. Each cycle includes awake state, REM (Rapid Eye Movement), light sleep and deep sleep.

Scientists have found that we behave differently in each of these stages and show different patterns of heart rates, breathing rates, movements and other measurements.

iZleep identifies such parameters by using an advanced algorithm, automatically igniting relevant features. This process helps you to achieve the complete sleep cycles – starting from REM phase, through light sleep, to deep sleep, and then return to REM from the deep sleep state, before you wake up.
